MCS Disaster Response

Australia's climatic conditions are extreme and diverse.  The region is experiencing more frequent natural disasters which result in greater devastation, damage to assets and infrastructure and also increasing injuries and loss of life.

We understand the pressures that this places upon Insurers - particularly as claims frequency and intensity escalates and claims handling and re-insurance reinstatement costs follow suit.

We have recently managed two very diverse natural events on behalf of a very wide range of insurer clients as their preferred contractors - these events being the Kalgoorlie Earthquake and Cyclone Yasi.  The former being remote and in an area where not all the dwellings had been constructed to the Building Code and where plans were often absent to the latter where the scale of the damage was often overwhelming.

MCS retains statistical returns which measures our turnaround times as a KPI of our ability to provide consistent services during spikes of exceptional volumes of work.  We would be happy to share these statistics or any other performance criteria with our valued clients.

MCS has been very actively involved in each of the following major catastrophe events.
